Nefos continues to empower farmers venture into other forms of agribusiness such as beekeeping. This sustainable and profitable venture can do well in Siaya and Bondo counties in Kenya following their geographic and climatic conditions. Beekeeping offers a large potential for farmers despite its minimal investment required. We continue to empower farmers to have this option as a means of survival which does not require rental or land ownership but can be initiated with equipment and tools that are locally sourced. Our relentless efforts in empowering farmers achieve financial independence through beekeeping is continuous as the projects are ongoing.
